Tammy Jo Lake, born on October 22, 1969, passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 55. She died with her family by her side after experiencing multiple health issues over the past two and a half months that limited her quality of life.
She was the daughter of Patricia Pierce and Leonard Buchert. Throughout her life she worked in companion care and as a nurse’s aide, providing support to those in need. She loved to garden, sing and do arts and crafts.
She is survived by her four children— Maranda Musto, Bryon Vary, Dylon Vary and Miles Lake.
A celebration of life will be held in October. Any donations can be made to Kitty Harbor or Compassion for Cats to honor her love of cats and animals.
