

Christina was born in Norwich, NY on August 28, 1978, the youngest daughter of Charles and Teena Tefft McKissick Cummings.
She graduated from Norwich High School in 1996 where she played soccer and competed in track while in middle school and high school. She then attended SUNY Delhi for one year.
Christina was a free spirit and moved around a bit, she lived in Rhode Island for years and then most recently she was living in Raliegh with her fiancé, Mark DeMun and their daughter, Shealynn Marie DeMun.
She worked for Marriott Hotels for 26 years as a Night Auditor both in Rhode Island and in North Carolina.
Christina was a lover of all animals, especially cats. She was a NY Giants, Boston Bruins and NY Yankees fan. She was a huge fan of Michael Jordan. She loved all music, especially Rap and Hip Hop. She has an extensive collection of music CDs. She also loved stuffed animals and had one of every animal known to mankind and if she did not it never stayed in the store. She was the kindest person and had the biggest heart.
Christina is survived by her daughter, Shealynn Marie; her fiancé, Mark DeMun; her mother and stepfather, Teena and W. John Cummings, of Norwich; her older sister, Catrina McKissick Ruling and her husband Timothy Ruling, of Sidney; her grandfather and step grandmother, Marcene and Barbara Tefft, of Norwich; her step siblings, Rebecca Cummings, Sean Cummings and Joann Bourgeois; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and some special friends, Danielle Farnsworth and David Rifanburg.
Christina was predeceased by her father, Charles W. McKissick; her maternal grandmother, Cora Tefft; and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Charlotte McKissick.
Funeral Services for Christina will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 20, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich with Pastor Brad Keator officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends following the service at Calvary Baptist Family Center. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 19, from 5:00-8:00pm
Interment will be in Wayside Rest Cemetery at a later date.
