Constance J. Hazard

She was born January 25, 1944 and grew up in Norwich, NY, graduating from Norwich High School in 1962. She worked for some time on the assembly line for the Norwich Shoe Company.

She married Raymond Hazard in 1962.

In her leisure time, Connie loved visiting family and friends and playing BINGO at the VFW and the Oxford Fire Department.

Connie was predeceased by her mother & father, Eugene & Caroline Ryan; her brothers, John, Eugene (“Junior”), and Gary Ryan; and her sister, Barbara Ryan.

She is survived by her brothers, Larry (Karen) Ryan and Herb (Martha) Ryan; her sister, Beverly Wismer; her son, Raymond Hazard Jr. and his children, Jennifer (Russell) McWherter, Joseph (Erica) Hazard, Jasmine (John) Anderson, Trevor, Kylee, and Bradley Hazard; her daughter, Teresa Hazard (David Evon) and her children, David Evon Jr., Brittany Evon, and Ryan Evon and his partner, Danielle; her daughter, Wendy (Randy) Miller and her children, Ashlee Miller, Kristen Miller and her partner Dylan Collins, Maranda Miller and her partner Jayme Frary, Amber (Paul) Grieder, and Randy (Jolene) Miller Jr.; and her daughter, Sherry Hazard and her children, Austin Cummings, Coreen Cummings and her partner Chad, Kendra, and Kayleigh Cummings. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, July 19, from 1-3 p.m. at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St., Norwich. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m.
