Jeannie L. Henne

Born Nov. 26, 1972 in Norwich, Jeannie was the daughter of John and Betty Satterlee Combes. She lived in the Norwich and Sherburne area all of her life and was a graduate of the Sherburne-Earlville High School. While in high school she was a student of BOCES and earned her cosmetologist license. A hard worker all of her life Jeannie had formerly worked for the Cutting Crew of Norwich. Most recently she had operated her own shop on American Ave. in Norwich known as Jeannie’s Hair Design for several years. She was also one of the founders of the Com-Care Food Bank of the Calvary Baptist Church.

On Aug. 11, 1990, in Sherburne, she married Carl Henne who survives. Besides her husband Carl, Jeannie is survived by her children Angelia Katherine Henne and Autum Kristine Henne both of of Norwich, her parents John and Betty Combes of Norwich, sisters Charlotte Combes and her significant other Nikki Straight of Smyrna and Brenda Combes and companion Robert Vishi of So. Plymouth. Also survivng are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service for Jeannie will be held on Wed., June 19, at 11:00 am from the Calvary Baptist Church of Norwich. The Rev. Brian Conover, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
