Kent Kirchbaum

Kent Kirchbaum passed away unexpectedly at his home December 17, 2012. He was born in Norwich, N.Y. October 13, 1968, son of Donald and Anna Kirchbaum. Survived by his mother Anna, his brothers Allan and Berry, his sisters, Kim of Norwich, and Donna (Jerry) Kudrick of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by nieces Stacey and Ashley, nephew Zachary, great niece Lilly, sister-in-law Barbara, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kent was predeceased by his father Donald.

Kent was employed by BOCES, Norwich for over 20 years, most recently as Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds.

An avid fisherman, Kent spent several vacations in San Diego deep sea fishing for Bluefin tuna and Yellowtail. He was a deer hunter but his favorite time in the woods was turkey hunting at his brothers’ property on Polkville Hill.

Ken will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Calling hours are Thursday, December 20th from 5 to 8:00 p.m. at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad Street, Norwich, N.Y. 13815

Funeral service will commence Friday, December 21st at 9:30 a.m. at R.J. Fahy, with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
