Michael William Jacques

Jake was born in Margaretville, NY on October 10,1956 the son of Lynnworth and Gladys Bowker Jaques. He grew up in the Walton area where he attended and graduated from the local school. He entered the United States Air Force where he served is country from 1974 1976.

Following his discharge he came to the Norwich area where he gained employment with the United States Post Office where he worked as a mail carrier for many years. Following his retirement Jake could often be found on one of the areas golf courses or at on of the many fishing streams in the area.

Jake was an easy going friendly guy who could strike up a conversation with just about anyone and over the years he acquired many friends in the Norwich area.

Jake is survived by his mother Gladys Jaques of Walton, NY his siblings Jeffrey Jacques of Sidney, John Jacques of Magnolia, TX and Ryan Jacques of Franklin, NY. He is also survived by his nephew Trevor Jacques and nieces Jennifer and Morgan Jacques and great niece Emmle.

Jake was predeceased by his dad Lynnworth and sister Terri

There will be no formal services at this time but there will be a Celebration of Jakes life to be held at a later date.
