Rena M. Doing

Rena M. Doing, 77, passed away on January 28, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 21, 1944 to the late Frank and Marie Cole. She graduated from Sidney High School and attended Farmington College on Long Island. Rena was an active member of her community, serving as an EMT and First Responder on the Plymouth Fire Department, a longtime member of the Plymouth Reservoir Lot Association, and helped with lake management and fundraisers. She also was a partner in R&R Electrical Services, a Chenango County Health Inspector and worked in the county planning department. Some of her happiest times were spent with her family (especially her grandchildren) and friends at the Plymouth Reservoir.

In addition to her parents, Rena was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond F. Doing. She will be greatly missed by her son, Stephen and Alice Doing; her special cousin, Geri; and her brother, Lonnie and Millie Cole; as well as many friends.

At Rena’s request, there will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to the Plymouth Reservoir Association, 359 Reservoir Hill Rd. Norwich, NY 13815.
