Sandra L. Baxter

Sandra Lorraine Baxter, of South Plymouth, died peacefully at home on April 14, 2022, surrounded by her husband of 50 years, Lynn “Eddie” Baxter, and her three sons, Bill (Michelle) Baxter, Todd Baxter, and Brian Baxter. Other surviving family members include her grandson, Damion Baxter; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Baxter, and Brianna Baxter; her great-grandson, Braxton Baxter; and her close family friend, Angela Croup, who lovingly cared for Sandra during her illness and was truly an angel the family could depend on. The family is also thankful for Hospice of Chenango County for the care they gave Sandra.

Sandra devoted her life to loving and caring for her husband and three sons. She also gave as much love to her closest friends. Sandra was a strong and remarkable woman who could always make those around her smile or laugh. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, often making blankets and other items for those she loved. She also enjoyed evenings out at the casino. Sandra deeply touched the hearts of those in her life and will be missed dearly. She was a true mother figure to all who entered her home and gave freely of herself without ever asking for anything in return. For those Sandra left behind, our lives will never be the same.

At Sandra’s request, there will be no formal funeral services. Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a later date.
