Victor F. Tiffany

Victor was born on July 4, 1937 in Norwich the son of Julian and Irma (Gardner) Tiffany, He grew up in the Norwich area where he attended the local schools. On July 12, 1958 he married Patricia Roof who survives.

Victor was a hard worker all of his life and was there to provide for his family. He had been employed by the Chenango County Highway Dept. for 32 ½ years where he worked as a wingman on the plows and was part of the bridge and paint crew. Aside from working for the county Victor had his own roofing and painting business and for many years was the only steeplejack in the area.

In his spare time he enjoyed camping and gardening.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife Patricia of Oxford, his children Vicki Bond and fiancé Patrick O’Hara of Cameron, NC, Randy Tiffany of McDonough, Douglas Tiffany and wife Cathy of Delta, CO, his siblings Nettie Hodge of FL, Juanita Angle and husband Richard of Oxford, Jeanette Shapley and husband Francis of Norwich, Beatrice Quincy of Norwich, June Wright and husband Thomas, Orrin Tiffany and wife Connie of Hawthorne, TN and Julian (Stub) Tiffany of Oxford. Also surviving are his grandchildren Christopher Tiffany, Nicole Miller and husband Jonathan, Cheyanne Tiffany and his great grandchildren Daegon and Kyleigh Miller along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister Crystal Wright and brother Leslie Tiffany.

At Victor’s request there will be no formal funeral services or calling hours.
