William L. Funk, 71, of Norwich, passed away on Friday afternoon, April 19, 2013, at his home. Bill was born in Quakertown, PA on Sept.21,1941 the son of William O. and Ellen Mae Reese Funk. He was a veteran of the United States Army and following the service to his country he gained employment with NAPA Auto in Pennsylvania. Bill moved to the Norwich area in 1993 and was married to Laura A. Law Myers Funk.
He enjoyed gardening, camping, deer hunting and visiting his uncle Willard Funks farm in Smyrna.
Bill is survived by his wife Laura of Norwich, his 3 daughters from his previous marriage, Dr. Valerie McAuley, Vicki Miller both of Exton, PA and Diana Funk of Ithaca and his step-son Travis Myers of W.VA. Also surviving are his 2 sisters Jean Kriebel and Joan Stump.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes there will be no formal services.
