McHUGH, Barbara A. (Merrick) 76, of Norwood, with her two daughters by her side, Thursday November 16. Daughter of the late Edward and Loretta (Thompson) Merrick. Loving wife of the late Robert E. McHugh. Devoted mother of Pamela J. Merrick of Raymond NH, and Karen Bonollo and her husband Robert of Norwood. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Taylor, Chase, Dana, Presley, and Jesse. Loving sister of Edward Merrick and his wife Lucille of Peabody, and Karen Anderson and her husband Gene of Somerville. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Barbara worked for many years and retired from the Sears and Roebuck Co. in Boston. A beautiful lady inside and out, Barbara will always be remembered for her kind heart, thoughtful ways, and her infectious smile and laugh. Funeral Tuesday November 21 from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy’s Church, Norwood at 10:30. Visiting hours Monday 4 – 8. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
