Charles J. Brown, 79, of Norwood, MA, passed away March 25, 2021, with his devoted wife and family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 42 years, of Carmel (Hanna); Loving father to Colleen (Casavant), Christopher, Courtney (Brunaccini), Charles Jr., and son-in-law Richard Brunaccini; Loving and proud grandfather of Alec, Tyler, Haley, Nicholas, and Mia; Brother of Dorothy Brown and John O’Connell. He was predeceased by his brothers, James (Butch) Brown, Ed Brown, and Paul O’Connell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister and brothers-in-law.

He was known for his kind heart, generosity and his great sense of humor.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Charles with his family during visitation at the Gillooly Funeral home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood, on Monday, March 29 from 5 to 8pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 30 at 11:00 am, at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will be private at a later date. The family suggests memorial donations to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org. Due to Covid restrictions, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
