Christopher P. Flood

Christopher was born and raised in Norwood, graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1980. He graduated from Spaulding University in Louisville, KY in 1997, where he received a B.A. in Psychology. Christopher served in the US Navy and spent many volunteer hours with disabled veterans in the Spinal Cord Unit at the Brockton Campus of the VA Hospital.

Beloved son of Eileen P. (O’Sullivan) Flood and the late Joseph T. Flood, Jr.; loving brother of Patricia E. O’Brien and her husband Jamie of Bourne and the late Joseph T. Flood, III and his wife Margaret Flood (whom survives); devoted uncle of Meghan Corbett of Onset, Ryan Collins and his wife Amy of NJ, and Kevin Collins and his wife Gina of Norwood; proud great-uncle of Joseph, Madison and Emma Collins, John and Shea Corbett, Liam, Fallon and Abigeal Collins. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16th at 10:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, then at 11:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, May 15th from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
