DOHERTY, Elaine A. (Johnson) Age 79, of Norwood, formerly of Jamaica Plain, Thursday January 2, 2025, after a long illness. Devoted wife of 43 years of the late Edward L. Doherty. Loving mother of Stephen M. Doherty and his wife Sue of Northbridge, Karen M. Horne of Marshfield and James E. Doherty and his wife Laura of Needham. Also survived by several cherished grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Devoted daughter of the late George and Helen (Doyle) Johnson, and sister of the late Robert Johnson. Visitation in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, on Friday January 10, from 9-10:30 AM only, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11 o'clock.
