Words cannot express our sorrow and shock at this unexpected loss to our family. Herbert was
a hard working man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and listening to music, both
new and old. He traveled the world with his loving wife and was the life of the party. Herbert was
raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason under Charter granted to Prince Hall
Freemasons by The Grand lodge on that sacred day in 1787. We are incredibly blessed to have
known and experienced you for the time that we did; an integral piece to our individual and
collective stories.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood.
Dad, Papi, Granddaddy, Poppy, and every other endearing title you hold, we will miss you
always and we thank you for everything. You are forever loved and we pray that you rest in the
sweetest peace.
