
LeClair, James Charles Sr of Port Orange, FL. passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, August 13th at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Annie Marie (Donohue) his wife of 29 years and survived by his five children: James C, LeClair Jr of Wayland MA, Therese LeClair Boyle Burton and her husband Michael of Little Rock AK, Michelle LeClair Yotti and her husband Allen of Arlington WA, Vincent LeClair Boyle of Reading PA, Janine LeClair Benoit and her husband Dennis of Brockton MA, and his four step children: Maureen McKale of Norfolk MA, Carolyn Stampfl and her husband Henry of Plainville MA and Robert Kilkus of Norwood MA, and was pre-deceased by his step son Staff Sgt John R. Kilkus USMC. James is also survived by his two brothers: Arthur LeClair and his wife Maria of West Warwick RI, Jack LeClair and his wife Virginia or Zellwood Station FL, as well as ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, four nieces and two nephews.
James retired from the US Coast Guard after serving 22 years and he was a Vietnam Veteran. He was retired from the US Postal Service and was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW.
Visiting hours in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. NORWOOD, Sun. 4-8pm. Funeral Mass at St. Catherines Church Mon. morning at 10:00am. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
