Josephine Palmerini

Josephine Palmerini, 100, of Wrentham, MA, formerly of Norwood, died March 18, 2022. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Falcone) Palmerini.

Ms. Palmerini grew up in Norwood, and attended Gillis Business School. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at General Dynamics. Ms. Palmerini was a devoted attendant at St. Catherine of Siena Church.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Mary Jones of Walpole and her dear sister-in-law Mary (Bilotta) Palmerini; her cherished nieces and nephews: Carol McCue of Bellingham and her sons James McCue of Wrentham and Steven McCue of Waltham, Jacqueline Huckle of Walpole, Ann Marie Callahan of Connecticut, David Leggeri of Billerica, James Leggeri of Franklin, Wayne Leggeri of Foxboro, Denise Cucalon of Bourne, Joan Palmerini of Virginia, Maryanne Gaetani of Norwood, and many grand-nieces and nephews, and also three great-grand nieces. She is predeceased by her siblings Rose Ross, Orrigo Palmerini, Jennie Ippoliti, Elizabeth “Betty” Leggeri, and James Palmerini, as well as nephews Lawrence, Paul, and Francis Ippoliti, and niece Jean Hurley.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may donate to Saint Catherine of Siena School in Norwood, MA 02062.Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood, MA 02062. Funeral Mass will be held from 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena, 549 Washington St., Norwood. Interment will be held from 12:15 pm at Highland Cemetery, 320 Winter St., Norwood.
