Kathryn I. “Kay” (Shepherd) McCann, 88, of Stoughton, formerly an over 30 year resident of Norwood, Thursday, May 01, at Epoch of Sharon. Born in Hopedale, MA, Kay was the daughter of the late Freeman D. and Cora I. (Donnelly) Shepherd. She was the beloved wife of Vincent McCann of Stoughton, the loving mother of Neal McCann and his wife, Jeanne-Marie of Sharon, and the late Kathleen McCann, the cherished grandmother of Ryan and Julianna, the dear sister of Dr. Freeman D. Shepherd of Chelmsford and the late Eleanor Coppinger; and the aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 5, at 8:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 59 Cottage St., Sharon. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 4, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
