

LARKIN, Margaret Elizabeth (Lacey), 95, a 57 year resident of Norwood, Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Born in Portland, ME on November 20,1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Honora (Kinavey) Lacey. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Larkin; the loving mother of Patricia Wong of North Attleboro, Janet and her husband, Donald Toner of Raynham, Marilyn and her husband, Roger Wehr of Orange, CT, the cherished grandmother of Angela and Michaela Wong, Nicole and her husband, Benjamin Wright, Lauren Toner, and Cassie and Kurt Wehr; the dear sister of Mary West of Aurora, CO, and the late John Lacey, Catherine Hannigan, and Sally Colello; the sister-in-law of Mary Galagan of Wellesley; and the aunt of several nieces and nephews. Margaret worked as an accountant for several travel agencies including A.I.T.S. in Chestnut Hill for several years prior to her retirement. In her youth, she and her sister, Mary, worked in Washington, D.C. for the Department of the Interior during WWII. Margaret’s funeral service will be held Monday, December 29, from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 28, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home, relatives and friends kindly invited.
