Mary L. Connolly

CONNOLLY, Mary L. (Quinton), age 93 in Walpole, formerly of Newton and Norwood, passed away peacefully on Friday January 3, 2025.

Daughter of the late Leslie and Della (Ryan) Quinton. Beloved wife of the late Francis M. Connolly. Devoted mother of Michael F. Connolly of Worcester, Paula G. and her husband John Glossa, Terrence J. Connolly and his wife Lori all of Walpole, and Brenda E. and her husband Stephen Usina of Fort Mill, SC.

Loving grandmother of Mary Kate, Michael Patrick, Hannah, Harrison, Christopher, Kaitlyn, and great-grandmother of Connor Edward.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Goddard, and her brother Norman Quinton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary's family wishes to thank the staff at New Pond Village for their friendship, compassion, and unsurpassed care. We also wish to acknowledge the support of Old Colony Hospice, as well as Cheryl and Angie for their supportive care during Mary's final days.

Mary cherished her 23 years of traveling to Ireland with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Knowing she is reunited with our father Francis, the love of her life will help sustain us through this difficult time.

Her spirit will be forever remembered and will continue to inspire love and kindness in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visitation in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, on Friday January 10, from 10-11:30 AM, prior to the Funeral Service at 11:30. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
