Maureen T. Parkinson Kreitsek

Maureen T. Parkinson Kreitsek, 82 of Walpole, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, surrounded by her family. Maureen was the wife of Edward Kreitsek of Walpole, formerly of Sudbury. Born to Joseph and Helma Johnson , Maureen married Robert Parkinson in 1950 who predeceased her in 1972. Maureen married Edward Kreitsek in 1995 and they had 18 happy years in Sudbury before moving to New Pond Village in 2013 to spend more time with family. Maureen was the loving mother of Robert Parkinson of Biloxi, MI, Mary Parkinson of Honaunau, HI, David and Kathleen Parkinson of Walpole, Kathryn Coughlin and Kevin Kelly of Walpole, and Richard and Jennifer Parkinson of Hudson, NH. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Erin, Kristen, Kelly, Andrew, Alix, Sarah, David and Bennett and great granddaughters Maeve and Charlotte. Maureen was predeceased by four brothers and she is survived by three sisters. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, April 6th at 9:00am at St. Catherine’s of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Buddy Dog Humane Society (151 Boston Post Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776), which was co-founded by her husband Edward.
