Peter L. Santospago Jr.

Peter L. Santospago Jr. of Norwood, died Thursday July 2, at home surrounded by his family, he was 70. He was a son of Shirley (Shepard) and the late Peter L. Santospago Sr.; beloved husband of Mary E. (Moroney) Santospago; father of Jessica Bonham and her husband John of Mashpee, Sarah Santospago of Norwood, Kim Foley of Newton, Tamara Burke of Westwood, Lisa Brown of Brookline, Mary Black of Roslindale, Deanna Santospago and Peter Santospago III, both of Foxboro, and the grandfather of 24 loving grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings; Judy Garza of MO, Michael Santospago of SC, Paula Allen of Marion, Dianne Balfour of Dedham, and Deborah Shepard – Huttenun of Norwood. He was the brother of the late Richard Santospago, and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday July 8, from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, followed by private interment in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Peter’s memory may be directed to the Peter Santospago Memorial Fund, C/O Santander Bank, 153 Nahatan St., Norwood, MA 02062, Attn: James Twiss. Late US NAVY veteran, and retired Baker for Wonder Bread Co. in Natick.
