Sheila Brenda (Delaney) KOKOSZKA, age 76, of Framingham passed away unexpectedly, and all too quickly, on her birthday Thursday June 8, 2017. Daughter of the late John A. and Nora A. (Reardon) Delaney. Caring sister of the late Dolores M. Delaney. Loving wife of 53 years to Stanley L. Kokoszka. Devoted mother of Judith Hudson and her husband Linwood of Raynham, Diane Larsen and her husband Donald of Framingham and Jean Maynard and her husband Michael of Mansfield. Cherished grandmother of Raymond, Michael Jr., Lexi, Aiden, Donnie, Christopher and Matthew, and great-grandmother of Colin, Delaney, Cameron and Logan.
Sheila was a graduate of Dedham High School with the class of 1959. She worked for AT & T in Boston before meeting her Stanley at Moseley’s on the Charles in Dedham. To those who knew Sheila well they would tell you one of her many joys was the love she had for her family. She lived her life with love and unwavering dedication for her husband, children and grandchildren. She adored them and could never stop saying how special and perfect every single one of them was. She was loved and adored by her family and every day she spread those beliefs on to everyone she met. Sheila made a new friend at every turn, from the nurses who took care of her during her successful battles with breast cancer, the receptionists she met when accompanying her husband to his treatments, her longtime friends Tina, Sue and Maria who was also her hairstylist through the years, to the people she met during her daily walks around the mall.
She had an appreciation of the beauties of nature from La Bella Luna, the cardinals and other birds she enjoyed watching at the birdfeeder in her yard, to her rose garden, peonies and houseplants that she tended to on a daily basis. She continually challenged herself with crossword puzzles, scoring herself in Jeopardy, learning to use her iPhone so she could keep up with her grandchildren and watching the accomplishments of her favorite player, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.
To all those who loved Sheila, rest assured she loved you too.
