Allyson Lea Seekford Hess sadly passed away on February 2nd, 2025. The beloved mother of David Brian Hess Jr "DJ". and Danielle Lea Hess and her fiancé Mahmood “Misha” Khaleel; devoted daughter of the late William and Yvonne Seekford; loving sister of Kimberly Keene and her husband Kevin, and the late Charmaine McLean and her husband Rod; she is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and a great many friends.
Allyson was a selfless woman who shared her radiant warmth and laughter with anyone lucky enough to cross her path. Home was her favorite place to be, whether she was cheering on the Ravens or relaxing with a good book. However, she particularly loved what lay just outside her window. Floating in the pool or tending the flower bed, she enjoyed the feeling of sun on her skin. Known for having a tender heart for animals, she delighted in watching birds visit her feeders and deer graze upon her apple tree. In more recent years, she spent time creating fond memories while traveling with her sister around the world.
Allyson was proud of the civilian service she provided to the U.S. Army during the latter half of her career, standing as a shining testament to her dedication and commitment to those around her. Coworkers often relayed how hard working and dutiful she remained, with no job too small for her humility or too big for her bright mind.
Above all, Allyson cherished being a mom. Her kids will always recall the term of endearment she used to describe their closeness: The Three Musketeers. From humble beginnings of window shopping while trying different gum-ball flavors at the mall and saving up coins the entire year to ensure a happy Christmas for them, Allyson prioritized her kids through thick and thin. Even after falling ill, the three became closer than ever, ensuring she did not spend a single moment alone as they cared for her.
