March 6, 1923 – October 7, 2017
On October 7, 2017 Angelo Alfred Cenci went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was the beloved son of the late Augusta (Bianchi) and Renato Cenci, and brother of the late Enrico Cenci.
Angelo was a WWII veteran and lifetime member of the United States Marine Corp League and a member of the Sons of Italy. He was devoted to God, his country, and his family until death. Angelo was retired from the United States Postal Service and served as a delegate to the Retired Postal Workers. He spent his later years surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Angelo is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jacqueline (Hughes) Cenci; dear friend of his late brother, Carolyn Gray; his four sons, Roland Cenci (and wife, Rhonda Cenci), Anthony Cenci, Michael Cenci and Joseph Cenci; his two grandchildren, Lauren Storm (and husband Kevin Storm) and Daniel Cenci (and wife Jessica Cenci); and his three great-grandchildren, Austin Storm, Kaylee Storm, and Jayden Joyner.
We celebrate his life of 94 years with admiration for his devotion to God, country and family time.
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel at Parkwood Cemetery located at 3310 Taylor Avenue, Parkville, MD 21234, on Wednesday October 11th at 12 pm. The Reverend Daniel Mark Cenci will preside over the service; assisted by Austin Storm as crucifer and Kaylee Storm as lector. In lieu of flowers, please pray for our military at home and abroad. God Bless America.
