Love you Pop and miss you terribly ❤️

Lefty was a great friend of my husband, Vince Trombetta.  They worked together many years and shared a lot of good memories.
I still miss both of them very much.   

I just drove to Ocean City, where it all began! Memories are forever and you are so greatly missed! ❤️

“Choosing happiness“, a book he gave me sits on my bookshelf for 25 years. Always encouraged to be unapologetically oneself. I never understood how he was constantly surrounded by so many women. Without a doubt that head of hair, bricklayers physique, contributed to  magnetism through kindness, an incredible smile and constant calm or laughter. I remember watching him smoke a pipe and being a man of home stability, proud of the structures he built which inspires me to develop structures today. Belief in the purpose, taking full responsibility, the ability to move on and forget, humility, optimism and realism, valuing others opinions with confidence in your own, and self-acceptance, just some of the ways my grandfather was a great leader  and legend; laying bricks, to the lodge, Orioles games, annual Christmas parties, dancing and singing all the way. All can live life as great as he did!

Poppa Nucci,
My heart is so blessed to have shared an amazing relationship with you & momma Lucy. I’m forever grateful for all those school days you didn’t make me go home. Phyllis and I shared the best times on Kavon Ave.  I truly believe my Nucci family helped  mould the person I am today. Your love, smile, laughter and  kindness will live on forever.  I know you and Momma Lucy are dancing together once again.  As your  laid to rest today,  may you be granted  enteral peace.  RIP ❤️🙏🏻❤️

We are so sorry to hear of Left’s passing. He was a such a wonderful man full of love for his family.  He will be greatly missed.    Condolences and love to the family.   Rest in Peace.  

Uncle Lefty was so special. Always a smile and warm hug.   We all loved him and he was a great example of Gods love.  I pray that you are welcomed into the living arms of our Lord and that you are enjoying all your loved ones who have been waiting patiently for your arrival. God bless you Uncle Lefty. You will be missed!!!

Angelo and I go back a long time. We choose the same trade, and worked side by side on occasion. I will miss his smile, and his sense of humor. I will always cherish our conversations, which always  included our mutual love of the times we worked together, and the friends we made during that time. My condolences to his family,  who cherished him. One day I'll see you once more my friend, and we'll finish that brick wall together. 



My grandfather gave me a book called “choosing joy”, certainly impacted my path in life. He kept judgements and opinions to a minimum, under morals, values and faith. I have great memories enjoying the energy of sports crowds at my first baseball game with him in Baltimore, fishing in Lewiston to learn that stillness is key to good life, drinking a Crown Royal or Coors Light with him, laughing and keeping things lite. All the bricks he stacked throughout Baltimore, his thick head of hair, great big heart and choosing joy will live on in me for at least another fifty years. I know Pop will always wink at us and I’ll be winking back. 

Always a smile and glitter in Dad’s eye is what I see when I think of Angelo Charles Nucci. Funny I never called My friend Margaret’s Dad Angelo. I always called him Dad. This is how it felt when I saw him . Loving , giving, gentle, kind , cherishing, suave, Debonaire and omg so funny. I remember the one day I was at Phylis salon and in comes Dad with his fabulous smile and glitter in his eyes. He was always so happy and showed a delight when he ever saw me.  Or when I went to his house to pick up Margaret there was Dad with that smile and glitter ..getting ready to go over Fran’s house. He was so happy ..always so happy ! Such wonderful memories . 

We are so sorry to hear of Pop's passing.  He was a true family man.  He loved his wife, his girls and all of his grandchildren.  We will certainly miss him at all the family gatherings.  Rest in Peace in the arms of the angels, Angelo.
