On February 26, 2018, Betty Gunter Hmelnicky passed away. She was the beloved wife, for 67 years, of John Joseph Hmelnicky; devoted mother of John Stephen Hmelnicky and his wife Ruth, and Beth Hmelnicky Siemek and her husband Joe; loving grandmother of Melissa Hmelnicky and her wife Jill Tighe, and Steve, Brian, and Michael Hmelnicky, and Adam, Garrett, and Hailey Siemek; dear sister of Barbara Patterson and the late Mary Lou Gunter.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2-5PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment services will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery (Fullerton, MD).
