Predeceased by his treasured parents Margaret (nee Prell) and Michael Amato, Sr; dear brother of the late Michael Amato, Jr.
Beloved husband of Johnnie Brooks Amato; adored father of Margaret Celeste Amato-Stricklin (Steve) and Dion Amato (Jacki); cherished grandfather of Julianna Amato; also survived by many loving family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mark Roman Catholic Church, 2407 Laurel Brook Rd., Fallston MD 21047 on Friday January 23rd, 2026, at 10:00AM. A light reception will follow in the church hall. Interment private.
