David Francisco Diaz Melendrez, age 85, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025. David is the beloved husband of the late Alma Diaz; devoted father of Edward Diaz, Mary Diaz, and Robert Diaz; brother of Juan Diaz.
David retired to the Baltimore area in 2006 after years of service in Washington DC. He was also a Red Cross volunteer, teaching CPR and first aid in the Washington DC area.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 12 Noon-1:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 p.m.
