On May 6, 2022, David Bowers Mitchell passed away. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Ann Mitchell (nee Casciotti) for 40 years; devoted father of Ken David Mitchell, and Krista Elisabeth Mitchell and her significant other Mitchell Long; loving son of the late Harry and Jean Mitchell; dear brother of James D. Mitchell and his wife Judy; loving uncle of Kyle and Carly Mitchell. Also survived by his sister-in-laws Diane Jones and her husband Bob, and Karen McGivern and her husband Brian, and their families, as well as his beloved dog Marley.
A receiving of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 10 AM to 12 PM, at the Perry Hall Family Worship Center, 5125 E. Joppa RD, Perry Hall, MD 21128. A memorial service will begin at 12 PM. Interment services are private. Those desiring may make a memorial donation in David’s name to the National Alliance for Mental Illness at www.nami.org, or the American heart Association at www.heart.org.
