To Dolly‘s family and friends: I’m just learning of this news and I’m so deeply sorry. She made a profound impact and difference in my life during my years at Loyola from beginning to end. I worked in the student activities office with her very closely. And these two photos are from my senior year (1988) when I was recruited to go round to offices, promoting the upcoming Maryland Day festivities. And the second photo is when Dolly stood in as my honorary mom when my parents could not make the trip back for the Maryland Day festivities, as they lived in Mexico at the time.  I received a Who’s Who award and she felt that someone needed to be there for me.  

May the angels lead her to paradise.  She’s now looking over all of us.  ❤️

Dearest, Natalie, Mary, Anna Marie and Nick,
I just heard , last evening, your mom has passed. I am deeply sorry. 
Words alone cannot express  what a blessing she was in my life. How fortunate am I to have met your family, one by one throughout the past many decades.
Dolly was a bright light… her smile made me smile. She always shared a kind or affirming word each time I was in her company.  She would end our time together with a hug and an “ I love you “.  I loved her too as I love your family. You each reflect , the kindness , compassion and consistency of a loving heart like your mom. 
Thank you! Thank you for making a difference in the world and for making sure she was able to make it to her appointments when she was no longer able to drive herself .
 It was a gift to both of us!
The thing that was most valuable to her in this lifetime was her faith and her family… what could be better. I will miss her. Sending you much love,

Dear Natalie and the whole Rizzi family,

I’m so deeply sorry to learn of Dolly’s passing. Some of my best Loyola memories were while working in the Office of Student Activities with Dolly as a colleague, a friend, and even a mother figure. I cherish my memories of her…especially the one when she drove me to the hospital when I was in labor with my daughter, Maia! I’m grateful for all the memories, the laughs, and many good times.  She was a wonderful woman - wise, faith-filled, and kind. May she rest in peace.

Dolly was a friend and neighbor who always had a smile that made you feel it was good to visit with her. We met shortly after her dear Nick had passed. She missed him very much and enjoyed sharing wonderful stories about him and their large family.
Her Family was her world and she loved each one of you.  Her home filled with your pictures gave her a chance to tell me all about your accomplishments or the last time you were over for a visit. You brought JOY into her life. 
She is in God’s care and our prayers.

May the God of all Comfort be with you during your time of trail and testing. Look to the hills which cometh your help. Give God your pain as you receive His Perfect Peace.

From the time I met her as a student at Calvert Hall - classmate to her son Nick Rizzi - and then later to have worked with her at Loyola College now  Loyola University - She remained the same caring and thoughtful person, Mom and Colleague. Loyola College Four for Ever - Donna, Dolly,Maggie, Karen

It was a treat to see Dolly and Anna Marie when I visited Mom a few years ago. Mom has lost her dearest friend. I will miss Dolly's uncommon wisdom and kindness. Her legacy is her wonderful family.

Celebrating Dolly’s birthday-believe it was her 80th. She was a class act. John and I will miss her. Our love and condolences to the family and all who knew Dolly.

Dolly has been my sole sister since we met at Calvert Hall parents club in 1981 and then on to Loyola College and beyond.  I will cherish our friendship and times together -  many laughs that I cannot begin to count.  I will miss her.  All her loved ones in Heaven have welcomed her with open arms.  And this certainly includes our Savior Jesus Christ.  If anyone deserves to be there, Dolly does!

Good morning Anna Marie, Mary, Nicky, and Natalie.  I am so sorry to hear the news of your mom's passing.  She was such a beautiful lady, inside and out!  I have SOOOO many great memories of your family!  You all were such a huge part of my life growing up, including your mom!  She was always so kind and loving towards me and I loved her right back!  I had the wonderful pleasure of interacting with your mom at Loyola College.  I even took her out on a "lunch date" one time.  I don't think your dad minded!  LOL! It also made me very happy that our moms  got along so well and how they helped out at St. Thomas More.  I was truly grateful to see you all, including your mom at my mom's funeral.  I feel so bad that unfortunately I will not be able to make it up to Baltimore next week for your mom's service.  I am so disappointed.  Please know that all of you have a special place in my heart and that I am praying for all of you.  Also know that your mom is not in pain anymore and is with your dad in Heaven.  She will always be with you and you will one day reunite with her in God's beautiful kingdom!  God bless the entire Rizzi family!  Peace and Love always, Tommy.
