Dolores Ann Russell

On November 12, 2025, Dolores Ann Russell (nee Bagdon) passed away peacefully at her home at Oak Crest Senior Living. She was the beloved wife of the late John B. "Bernie" Russell and a loving mother to Ronald Russell (and his wife Dorothy), Nancy Stronski (and her husband Gary), Deborah Vahlkamp (and her late husband Mark), Linda Russell, and David Russell (and his wife Tara). She is survived by five grandchildren: Scott Stronski (and his wife Rachel), Douglas Vahlkamp (and his wife Sarah), Ashleigh Boidock (and her husband Robert), Kayla Ivey-Russell, and Luke Russell; and two great-grandchildren: Sophie Boidock and Emmett Boidock.

Dolores was well known for her devotion to her home team Baltimore Orioles and when not watching baseball could often be found at the nearest Bingo game. Before his passing, she and Bernie loved to travel, visiting many landmarks via cruise ship and motor coach.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Oak Crest Senior Living Chapel, 8820 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dolores’ name to the Alzheimer’s Association Alzheimer's Association | Alzheimer's Disease & Dementia Help or the Oak Crest staff appreciation fund:
