I'm going to miss you Uncle Don. Whenever I came out to your house as a child, you always took time to spend with me. I remember many time's on Christmas you would watch football and you would let me play with the American Flyer train set . You never let it bother you the noise I made. Remembering all the times we got together for family dinners and cookouts. You were always a great loving uncle. I will miss you .The world is a lesser place without you. Now God will benefit from your presence with him because heaven will be a little better .Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life.

      We love you! You will be greatly missed. We'll always remember your love of "Balti-more", pickin' crabs, and family vacations at Ocean City, MD. You were always behind/supportive of Baltimore Football, both the Colts and the Ravens, and those O's!. If any of these teams lost, you'd always say,  "AIN'T IT A DARN SHAME", with a look of such disappointment.

We'll remember your generosity when you treated us/family out-to-dinner at the Ponderosa, Horn-n-Horn,Hibachi Grill, and Cactus Willies, just to name a few. And thank you for my first car, a gold-colored Dodge Dart, lovingly called my 'Gold Nugget". Along with subsequent cars passed down to Mom, then me, then Sharon. 

You invested in Baltimore by your work Armco and our country by your service to our country during your time in the Navy, off the shores of Newfoundland, where you met your bride, Marie Wade.

And I'm sure everyone will want to learn your "Youth Dew" Prescription, which included lots of fish, which have a lot of Omega-3, maintaining a stable weight and a usual breakfast of Raisin Bran or Oatmeal. Along with hot crabs and a cold beer every summer!

The Caprice was so big, I stuffed 'my life belongings' in it on my way down to college at UMBC, for 'on-campus' housing.

Uncle Don you will be missed by so many of us, we have been so blessed to have you in our life's,. You always had a smile , story to tell of your  travels, and so much love to give, my girls Heather and Hollie have always enjoyed your visits with us, my husband Jack thought so much about you, I myself have lost a long long friend we have shared so many times of our life with each other, Iam glad you are not suffering any more and you are with God,

So sorry for your loss.  When I think of Uncle Don, I remember a man who always had a smile on his face and a genuine love for everyone.  May he rest in peace.  Carol (Warland) McCarra (Delaware)

I knew Don Jacobs, Sr for 14 1/2 years because I was married to his oldest granddaughter, Trish Keene.

He was the most generous person that I have known in my lifetime so  
far.   His joy was giving to his family, 
celebrating the holidays, birthdays, 
and special events. 

I loved his many stories about his cruises he went on.  He went on those cruises as a companion for ladies who were on the cruises by themselves.   He would play games like shuffleboard and other games. 
He would also accompany them to dinner also. 

The last time I saw him before his passing was with my wife Trish,  her younger sister Sharon,  my mother-in-law Barbara (Trish,'s mom), Uncle Don (his son) and my aunt Pat (the younger Don his son)

We sang Christmas carols and he opened some gifts with some assistance.  I will cherish that  memory for the rest of my life. He surely lived life to the fullest. 

The last thing I would like to add is about Don Sr's disposition.   Given some of his circumstances he was the most kindest,  gentle,  caring, and loving man I have known so far in my lifetime.  I know I will dearly miss him.

So sorry for your loss. I am so thankful that we got to meet him and visit with him in the hospital. May God give you comfort during this time of loss.

Our condolences to Barbara, Don Pat Trish and Sharon. Memories of you father were always pleasant with many happy times and lots of laughter. He was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your grandfather. He was one of life's true characters. May he rest in peace now!
