Eleftheria "Ritsa" Kanellopoulos

On June 19, 2021, Eleftheria "Ritsa" Kanellopoulos passed away surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Fotis J. Kanellopoulos; devoted mother of Joanne Kanellopoulos and her significant other Vince Parynis, and John Kanellopoulos and his wife Vicky; loving grandmother of Niko and Foti Georgelis, and Ellie and Foti Kanellopoulos; dear sister of Tasos and Manoli Vourganas; cherished cousin of Effie Stratakos and her husband Louie, Nikos Georgalas, Taki Kapoudas, Olga Georgalas and the late Manoli Georgalas. Also survived by many loving extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 5-9 PM. Further visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (Baltimore, MD), from 10:30-11 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11 AM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
