On April 3, 2016, Elizabeth Hansge Stier passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Leroy Stier; devoted mother of Robert G. Stier and his wife Harmony, and Nancy E. Stier; loving grandmother of Timothy D. Stier and his wife Emily and Amanda J. Ponzar and her husband Matthew; cherished great-grandmother of Maden and Morgan Ponzar, and Ben and Jude Stier.
Elizabeth was a long time member at St. Michael Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Gordon and both she and Gordon loved dancing and dining at Boumi Temple and Bou-Tem-Sci functions. During her retirement she volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital, took classes, regularly swam at Essex Community College and was an avid reader.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at Oak Crest Chapel 8800 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234, on Saturday April 9th from 10—11am with a funeral service to follow at 11am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 .
