On April 18, 2022, Francis A. Russell; beloved husband of the late Patricia L. Russell (nee Baxter); devoted father Donna L. Barnes and Deborah L. Miller; father-in-law of Thomas A. Barnes and the late Warren L. Miller; loving grandfather of Raymond D. Hess, Jr., Jeffrey R. Miller, and Jillian R. Miller; cherished great-grandfather of Andrew D. Hess, and Raymond D. Hess, III; dear brother of the late Marguerite A. Gaunt and Ruth Ann Ashe. Also survived by 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., and a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. Interment Poplar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
