George Paul Bosse

George Paul Bosse (Popop) peacefully passed away surrounded by family at 4:23 pm on October 24th, 2022 in Cary, North Carolina. George went to be with the Lord at 93 years of age. George was born in Baltimore City on September 30th, 1929.

Predeceased by his loving wife Rose Theresa Bosse and his sons George Paul Bosse Jr, Joseph Francis Bosse, and his son-in-law Otis Wayne Hurd.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Theresa Bosse Hurd and his daughter-in-law Jean Bosse. His grandchildren Rebecca Hurd Norman (Edward), Dr. Cheryl Bosse, Geroge Paul Bosse III (Samantha), Tobin Hurd (Erin), Rachel Hurd Cutler (Dr. Patrick Cutler), and Dr. Olivia Hurd-Pipalia (Dr. Amrish Pipalia). His great-grandchildren Adalyn Bosse, George Paul Bosse IV, Oliver Cutler, Finley Hurd, Otis Cutler, Joseph Bennett Hurd, and Shay Bosse.

George was a devoted Catholic and was a member of Saint Stephens Church in Bradshaw, MD for 60 years. He worked as an electrician and retired from Eastern Stainless Steel. George was known for the love of his garden. George spent most of his days outside working in his garden or exploring Gunpowder Falls. George moved to Cary, North Carolina to be with family in 2021.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 4th at Schimunek Funeral Home (9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD) from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a wake. Mass will be held at Saint Stephen's Church on Saturday November 5th at 10:00 am followed by burial at Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Reception to follow.
