Irene Claudia Noonan

Irene Claudia Noonan (Van Meter), age 75, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald N. Noonan, Sr,: devoted mother of Melinda D. Carman and her late husband Steve Carman, Wayne D. Noonan and his wife Dawn and the late Donald N. Noonan, Jr.; loving grandmother of Nicholas J. Noonan, Brittany D. Kuhn and her husband Jay, Mackenzie F. Noonan, Payton D. Boarman, Melina I. Carman; cherished great grandmother of Natalie M. Noonan, Colton J. Kuhn, Kinsley D. Kuhn, Sophia L. Noonan and Camden W. Kuhn; dear sister of Teresa Palugi and her brother Abraham Van Meter and his significant other Cindy Felter. Preceding her in death were her sisters Helen Van Meter, Barbara Van Meter, Victoria L Fitzpatrick, Lillian A. Smith as well as her parents, Betty A Monaco and Abraham Van Meter. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.

A visitation for Irene will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, January 29 from 5-8pm.

Where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30 at 11am. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7215 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore, MD 21061.
