On January 8, 2026, Jacob Timothy Burke passed away. He was the beloved son of Bill and Carolyn Burke; devoted brother of Julia Lauren Burke; devoted and loving boyfriend of Ashlee Leeper; loving grandson of JoAnn Burke "JoJo", Sharon Olson-Mattas "Grammie Ocean" and her husband Bob, Coleen Entlich "Nana" and her husband Jersey Don; cherished nephew of Terri and Jeff Merwin, Rob and Kate Burke, Rich "Uncle Moochie" and Sheila Olson, Melba and Kenny Frazier, and the late Traci Burke; dear cousin of Claire and Tyler, Josh and Gabby, Nick and Andrea, Audrey and Dave, Mason and Izzie, Jack and Anna, Abby, Brendan, Cameron, Dani, Nicole, Brooklyn, and their families; he is also survived by many lifelong family friends who he called his aunts and uncles.
Jacob really loved pinball machines, roller-coasters, Family Guy, he was an extensive foodie for eclectic foods, traveling, hiking, foraging for mushrooms, hanging with his girlfriend Ashlee on weekends and especially during his lunch breaks, he really enjoyed being with family during events and gatherings, he was proud to have built his own computer, he loved everything electronics, building legos, he also loved EDM music, going to raves, and dancing.
Jacob worked for Northrop Grumman for approximately 3 years, most currently as an electronic manufacturing specialist. He was so proud to be a member of IBEW Local 1805.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1-6 PM, a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday at 4PM.
