On July 5, 2016, James Howard Claypoole, Jr. (Pop) passed away. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Ann Claypoole (nee Buettner); devoted father of Patricia Ann Hurn and her husband Robert, James Howard Claypoole, III and his wife Kim, Mary Elizabeth Ludtke and her husband Nick, and Daniel Yeardsley Claypoole; loving grandfather of Becky Townsley and her husband Chad, Amy Curtin and her husband Josh, Kayla Claypoole, Samantha and Nicole Ludtke, and DJ Claypoole; cherished great-grandfather of Sadie and Rylee Townsley, and Damien Claypoole; dear brother of Mary Alice Lucier, John Claypoole, Sr., and Richard Claypoole.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday July 8th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (Dundalk, MD). Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
