Jane Wean Moffett

Mrs. Moffett was the daughter of the late George and Helen Wean of Topton, PA., and the widow of Louis B Moffett III of Wenonah, NJ. Surviving are two daughters Deborah Ingle and Barbara Degler with their husbands and two grandchildren Brandon Ingle with his wife and Alexandra Goldring.

Mrs. Moffett graduated from Kutztown High School Class of ’43, Drexel University Class of ’47 and received her master’s at Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College).

Throughout Mrs. Moffett’s professional career, she held positions in the field of Education, Food Service Management, and Management of Non-Profit organizations. In recognition of the achievements she accomplished in her chosen fields, she was presented with the Woman of the Year award from the Gloucester County Freeholders in 2001. In 2015, President Obama awarded Mrs. Moffett with a commendation for her volunteer services.
