On July 12, 2025 Jeanne Bartenfelter (nee Merson) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Bartenfelter, Sr.; devoted mother of Debbie Coffey and her husband Bill, and John Bartenfelter and his wife Sharlene; cherished grandmother of Lauren Mitchell and her husband Corey, Ryan Coffey, Jennifer Bryson and her husband Tyler, Patrick Bartenfelter and his wife Brittany, and Meghan Meads and her husband Brent; loving great-grandmother of Hallei, Madison, Isabella, and Abigail; beloved daughter of the late Tobe and Cora Merson; dear sister-in-law of James Bartenfelter.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 Am. Interment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne’s name to Gilchrist, 11311 McCormick Rd. Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
