Joseph John Cherry, age 92, of Nottingham, MD, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. He was the beloved husband, for 72 years, of Martha Ann Cherry (nee Andes); devoted father of Michael P. Cherry, and the late J. Neal Cherry; cherished father-in-law of Gerry Cherry; loving grandfather of Joseph John Cherry, II and his wife Amy, Nicole Chanoski and her husband J.R., and Sean Cherry; dear great-grandfather of Miranda, Joey, Brendan, Nathan, Liam, Collin, and Christopher, and one on the way; devoted brother of Robert Cherry and his wife Peggy. Also survived by his brother-in-law Bill Andes, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 11 AM to 12 PM, at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin.
