On August 15, 2023, Joseph T. Leonard passed away. He was survived by beloved wife Natalie B. Leonard (nee Biel); beloved daughter Gina Stick, her husband Daniel, their family Nicole Stick, Jason Stick, Tiffany Ramsey, her husband Dean, and daughter KayLynn; beloved son Gary Leonard , his wife Jennifer, their family Keiron, Evelyn, Brennan; dear brother of the late Michael Leonard. He is also survived by brother in law, Timothy Biel, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lorien Bulle Rock for the excellent care and compassion.
Joseph enjoyed fishing, golf, poker and pitch, collecting Lionel trains, and going to the casino. While watching the Ravens or the Orioles he was sure to be eating crabs. Joseph was known for continuing the 100 year old holiday tradition of making homemade polish sausage. Although Joseph enjoyed many hobbies there was always time to watch the grandchildren play sports.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 610 West Macphail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105, or at www.stjude.org.
