J.R. Calvert

On Sunday, April 10, 2022 Donald Frank Calvert, Jr (J.R.) loving husband to Margarette Calvert and father to Camren, Chloe and Cora passed away. J.R. was the son to Donald F. Calvert Sr and the late Patricia Calvert. He was son-in-law to Heila Kilian and Wihelm Bester. He was grandson to Tienie Kotze and the late Effie McCarthy. He was the beloved brother to Jacqueline Kosiorek, Christine Borden, Keri Barnes and Kimberly Doyle-Snyder. He was the brother-in-law to Kenneth Kosiorek, BJ Borden, Matthew Barnes, Chris Snyder, Natasha and Barry Snyman, Heila and André de Lange and Nadia and Frans Cronje. His nieces and nephews include Amy Gray and her husband Jim, Kyrstan, Brittani, and Dylin Borden, Bailey and Brooks Barnes, Emily and AJ Doyle, Benjamin and Samantha Snyder, Ulrich, Gunter, Barry George and Matthew Snyman, André and Angelica de Lange, Keanu and Oliviah Cronje and great nephews Eoin and Cillian Gray.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Road Nottingham, MD 21236) on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-12 p.m. at which time a funeral service will begin at 12 p.m.
