Julia Angelina Picarelli (nee Scherzo), age 95, of Parkville, MD, passed away on June 27, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Joseph Picarelli; devoted mother of Carmine D. Picarelli and his wife Kathy, and Gina M. Locco and her husband Aldo; loving grandmother of Nicole Chiarizio, Julie Locco, and Alex Picarelli; cherished great-grandmother of Gianna Chiarizio, Joseph Chiarizio, Daniela Suter, and Oliver Locco; dear aunt of Theresa Schlessel and Camila Wondolowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 3-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 10 Willow Ave, Baltimore, MD 21206. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Julia’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
