On October 17, 2014, Marian H. Svec (nee Herold) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Svec; devoted mother of Dorothy Grynovicki and her husband Jock, Stephen Svec and his wife Linda, and Catherine Aiken and her husband Tom; loving grandmother of Sarah Valenti and her husband Michael, Thomas Aiken and his wife Crystal, Justin Grynovicki, Jennifer Aiken, Edward Svec and his wife Bethany, Christina Svec, Amanda Grynovicki and Caitlin Aiken; loving great-grandmother of Tommy Aiken, Lela Svec, Gavin Valenti, Mia Valenti and Kylee Kadar; dear sister of Rita Fay.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton). Interment private.
