On September 10, 2025, Mary Mildred Caprio (nee Vicchio) passed away peacefully at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Joseph Caprio; devoted mother of Nicholas A. Caprio, wife Theresa, Teresa C. Moore, husband Michael; loving grandmother of Nicole A Caprio, Courtney M. Caprio; beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Mafalda Vicchio; dear sister of the late John Vicchio and Alfred Vicchio. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Christian mass will be held at St. Margaret Church, 141 N. Hickory Ave, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105, or at www.stjude.org.
