On August 20, 2024, Mary Jane Hellmann (nee Cunningham) passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Hellmann; devoted mother of Steven Hellmann, his wife Teresa Sturm and his late wife Anne, David Hellmann, his wife Charlene, the late Mary Teresa Schaefer, Raymond Hellmann Jr.; loving grandmother of Matthew Hellmann, his wife Rachel, Patrick Schaefer, Erin Hellmann, Emily Schaefer; cherished great grandmother of Grady Hellmann, Emerson Hellmann; dear sister of Joseph Cunningham, the late Sally Liles, Irene Gabriel, Melvin Cunningham, Tom Cunningham, and Anne Bauer.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 13305 LONG GREEN PIKE, HYDES, MD 21082. Interment will follow at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery.
