Mary Yvonne Mejia

Mary Yvonne Mejia at age 54, passed away on January 31, 2022 with her mother Mary Blosse. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Eric D. and her son Eric M. Mejia, who live in Bel Air; survived by her sister Victoria Kendall, married to Thomas Kendall of Catonsville; loving daughter-in-law of Geraldine K. Mejia and late husband, Marco Tulio Mejia; godmother and aunt of Luke and Alex Rothenheber; sister-in-law of Maria Mejia Rothenheber and husband Michael of Ruxton; niece of of Dot (Mary Blosse's sister) and Larry Shipley of Perry Hall. She is predeceased by her father Dennis Rosenbloom. Mary lived in Bel Air, Maryland with her husband, son and and her mother. Mary spent days with her inseparable sister and mother. She was a stay at home mom who enjoyed spending quality time with Eric Michael driving him every morning to Calvert Hall College High School. Those who were friends with her on Facebook or Instagram, would see a daily inspirational early morning post, whether it was a beautiful scene or a positive proverb to help lift us throughout the day. Mary journaled every day with her sister, created daily and weekly life goals. Mary spent 15 years as a Respiratory Therapist and then received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Notre Dame Medical University. She was a nurse at many hospitals within the region, lastly at Johns Hopkins Hospital, before becoming a dedicated stay at home mom to her son and caring for her mother. She was a loving mother, a sister, and a wife who was cared for deeply by her loving husband. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church (Fullerton), 8420 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, where the family will gather from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
